As base manager, I am fully committed to all projects.
My Weimaraner Labrador bitch Snowy (date of birth: January 1st, 2019) accompanies me in my day-to-day life in my main job at the tax office/auditing firm. She is always by my side, so we are a great team, which I am very proud and grateful for. Through regular trailing (since the 16th week of life), our bond has become even stronger.
Even “earlier” – before Snowy, I was able to gain valuable experience, either by listening with interest to my mother Sabine Kratzenberg, or as a silent companion during training.
From the beginning, Snowy and I as a team have gone through the testing system according to the K-9 ® guideline including blue. Since 2022, we have been animal search - mission tested and regularly carry out voluntary animal search missions as part of the non-profit association Tiersuche Niederrhein eV.
This intensive, wonderful hobby together with my dog was quickly consolidated through more challenging trails or tasks after mission analyses in training units with SK Suchhunde Niederrhein, Sabine Kratzenberg or with K-9 ® Alexandra Grundow -online/ on site in Carinthia-.
The fact that I am able to experience and structure the day-to-day life of Tiersuche Niederrhein eV as a board member or founding member has created a wide range of knowledge and experience in addition to an incredibly valuable network in the field of animal rescue and animal protection.
By further consolidating technical content through ongoing training at K-9 ® experts webinars and online training units, I am creating a solid foundation for myself.
Over the past few months, I have had the opportunity to get to know some great new teams and, in addition to the necessary seriousness, we have had a lot of fun. I am really looking forward to continuing to support the existing teams and integrating new ones.
I decided to take the unique training to become a search dog trainer at the K9 Academy® because it is a top-certified training with high quality standards and very experienced instructors.

In 2013, my dog Nele (Labrador/Weimaraner) and I discovered mantrailing. Nele and I grew into a harmonious team through this great hobby.
Today, other wonderful furry friends, Fine (dachshund) and Franzi (Weimaraner), are part of my team.
..from hobby to profession..
I turned my beloved hobby into a career. I completed my trainer training with K-9, Alexandra Grunow & Rovena Langkau.
For me, further training is a MUST. The whole team regularly takes part in courses and training sessions to keep our performance levels at an optimal level. Because we love what we do, every learning session, no matter how demanding, becomes another great experience.
Animal searches are my passion. As the first chairwoman of Tiersuche Niederrhein eV, I can draw on years of experience and good training as a foundation, as well as a wonderful, reliable team at my side.
We also train regularly at trainer level in the context of animal searches in order to integrate various topics. We are networked with many great organizations because we all have the same goal: animal rescue.
My name is Elke Feldmann. I have my Bavarian Mountain Hound "Blade" and the Hungarian Viszla bitch "Ella". Blade got me into trailing in 2017. After we completed all the tests according to K-9 guidelines, including the animal search test, we regularly go on animal search missions. I would like to pass on the experience I have gained through trailing. That's why I decided to start training as a search dog trainer. I really enjoy accompanying my teams. I'm looking forward to exciting trails with you and your dogs.
